Heath Avery was formed in 1979 and is one of the longest-established practices in the region. However, we have been keen to ring the changes and have rebranded and refocussed the practice to present a forward-facing and cutting-edge ethos.

Heath Avery consists of both architects and technicians with a good mix between design and technical skills. We also a great pool of outsourced expertise to give us flexible resources. We get very positive feedback for our ability to deliver superb design and pride ourselves on attention-to-detail and team-working. The acid test is our excellent long-standing relationships.

We are focussing on care, education, workspaces and specialist residential as sectors, but we also have a great deal of experience in heritage and retail.

We primarily operate in the South-West, Midlands and South Wales (Approx 75 mile radius of Cheltenham so we can stay close to projects).

We are working hard on our eco-credentials as this is the key driver in the market. We believe we are significantly ahead of the game, especially for our size - and that is borne out by awards and the contracts we are winning. We have a dedicated Director of Sustainability and are working towards ISO 14001. (see sustainability section).
