Hester Architects was established in 1998 and operates from offices on the outskirts of Wallingford. The practice benefits from the considerable experience of its Managing Director Malcolm Hester, who was Architect Director of his previous practice for a period of some thirteen years. Company Director Paul Burman works alongside Malcolm and leads the team responsible for the Feasibility and Planning stages of projects, maximising the value of sites and liaising closely with all our clients. Philip Trueman our Technical Director has extensive knowledge and experience of project management and working drawings and oversees the production of the construction drawings. Philip also looks after the projects through to completion on site. Liz Potter is the Director responsible for the financial and administrative management of the practice. The directors are backed up by a dedicated team of technical staff, and a wide range of specialist partners. Every specialist discipline is available through our network of partners including urban design, landscape design, interior design, perspective artists, computer imaging, photo-montage work, town planning etc. This network also enables the company to call on the services of over 100 architects and technicians during the working drawings stage, whilst minimising the overhead. We are thus able to offer a comprehensive service to our clients by employing expertise in all disciplines. We use state of the art Three Dimensional CAD technology to present and detail our projects. Our organisation handles a wide range of projects including private housing, affordable housing, nursing homes, hotels, and leisure projects. We regularly handle schemes up to £20m in value but can also take on smaller projects.
